Story

    A family of three, a single father and his two children, is the owner of a huge import-export business.  The father owns several major stocks in major companies.  When his first child came of age, she came and helped her father's business.  Her brother was expected the same but he did not want to.

    One day, he barged into his father's office, asking for 1 million of cash.  His father did not have any at that time, so he called his stockbroker, to sell several of his stocks to cover for the 1 million his son had asked.  He gave a trust slip to his son and told  him to ask his assistant to cash it for him.

When the father told his daughter about this, she was very upset.  She told her father that it was irresponsible of him to leave the family like that.  He calmed her down, saying that the money that had been spent would be returned.

    After getting the money, the son recklessly spent it.  Going in and out of night clubs and bars, he met TRIO CENTIL, the most notorious and materialistic gang in town.  TRIO CENTIL number one is an assertive  money-minded woman, number two is a sassy but pushy woman, and number three is a fox-like man, silent but stealthy.  Attracted by his money, they made him their new "best friend."  He was willing to buy them what they desire and he was considering them as his "lifesaver."  Through them, he met a sweet young woman, who happened to be a friend of TRIO CENTIL number one.  One night she was in need of phoning a friend, but her cell phone went down.  She asked him whether or not she can borrow some money to buy phone credit and he just gave her the money in front of the gang, without asking it to be returned.  Naturally, being money-minded people, they asked for their share.  He gave them too.  That night, they partied like crazy; drinks pouring non stop, music pounding, and cash flowing.

    He went home after his "lifesavers" went home.  Drunk, he bumped into someone and he scolded him for standing on his way.  That person did not take it easily,  he fought back.  They went out their separate ways, threatening each other that when they will see each other, it will be the day the price will be paid.

    Not long, the one million is gone.  Now the son had no money left to spend.  He went back to his "lifesavers", hoping that they will lend him some money.  To his surprise, they pretended not knowing him.  They rejected him, and told him to leave their sights.  His feeling was hurt, the people he had considered his "lifesavers" dumped him like yesterday's news.   

    When he was very hungry, he rummaged through a large plantation's dumpsite.  The owner's assistant found him out, he was the guy he had fought with few days earlier.  The owner's assistant thought that this would be a good time for having his revenge, so he brought him to his boss for judgment.

    The assistant told his owner what had happened and asked him whether he could be the one to punish this trespasser.  Instead, he asked him the reason why he had trespass and asked his assistant to give him some food and a job.  The assistant obeyed and he put him to work by taking out the waste of the plantation to the dumpsite.

    Regretting his current life, he complained to God why this had happened to him.  Then he realized that there was no place like home.  All he wanted would be given by his father.  He prayed, asking if he could go back to his father's house.  God answered his prayer through visions given to the plantation owner, who was devoted to the Lord.

    The plantation owner came to the dumpsite where the son worked.  He told him about the vision from God.  At first he refused, telling him that he was ashamed to meet his father.  After the plantation owner insisted and gave him some money for his wage, he hugged him as a  sign of gratitude.

     He returned with small expectation of acceptance, but when he was still afar, the assistant saw him, he rushed to the father, and the father ran from his work to greet his lost son.  The son asked, begged for his father's forgiveness, but his father had forgotten about the problem already.  He instructed his assistant to prepare a banquet for his lost son and instructed him to bring the son's sister to join the celebration.

    At the same time, the sister was talking to one of the major investors about a new project. When she finally got the deal, she was in such joy, she felt euphoric.  But this happiness did not last long.  The assistant knocked on her door and told her that her brother had returned and her father was expecting her to join the banquet he had prepared for his arrival.  Upon hearing the news, she was sad.  She rushed to the banquet, to demand justice.

    The banquet went very well.  A lot of people came to join the festivities.  But one person was not happy, she was standing outside the hall, waiting for her father's explanation.  Her father went outside, saw her standing there, and he asked her the reason she did not join.

    She asked her father why he gave a party for a irresponsible child like her brother and not to her, who was working very hard and had just won a multi-million deal.  He explained to her that an offspring is much better than riches, for an offspring  was not replaceable.  She walked out in rage, he sighed sadly, and he went back to the party.
