As a person who is still in the process of being a director, I was blessed with this production. I learnt a lot from this production, especially on how to interact with each cast members' characteristics. At first, I was not really sure that I could help them dealing with their anxiety on stage, but I was blessed with cooperating members who were willing to put their best efforts for this production.
Yulianto as GOL coordinator really helped me in casting. He assured everybody, when roles were assigned to each person, that even though this was an impromptu, this was supposed to be fun. He advised the cast members to be who they were in the play, wisely said. Yulianto, thanks a lot for everything. I hope that we can work again some other time.
I would also like to thank the technical advisor on this production, Roy. Thank you for telling me which technical aspect is good for the play. By the way, thank you so much for the T-shirt. It's beautiful.
The feeling between the rehearsal and the show was totally different, whereas in the rehearsal, everyone was quite stiff because they were lacking the experience of playing an impromptu. But when the show was on, they were relaxed and they could enjoy being themselves on the stage, or at least that was how I felt. Some blocking mistakes could be examined, for example the scene where David (landlord's assistant) met Hari for the first time. From blocking point of view, Hari was not supposed to walk around, but just go straight to where David entered. Perhaps audience would think that he was not willing to leave the night club soon. That could be one alternative, in this case he showed his anger well to the audience.
In the intensive training (3 days before show time) due to lack of communication and location (I am really sorry that I did not give directions well), the rehearsal started about 1.5 hours later. We started with prayer for strength and courage for each cast member. When the rehearsal began, it really showed that they had never played an impromptu before, but because of IR4's wonderful hospitality (Thank you, Samuel, Hendrik, Sandy, David, Hani, and Honny!) we could broaden our circle of friends. We could get acquainted with new people.
Show Time! What a relief! Although before the production started, the tiles on the GOL location popped, causing great damage on the 'stage' where we supposed to play. Personally, at that time I was worried, what would happen to the production, will they be able to play on such condition. But God is good. He knew I was afraid, He assured me that nothing will happen during the production, and He was right. The impromptu ran smoothly and I could enjoy it as an audience.
Once again, I am grateful to each and everyone of you who were willing to help on and backstage. I would like to have the opportunity to work together again in other productions. I am sorry if I had said or did things that hurt your feelings.

In this play, it seemed as if I was playing myself. We are similar in characteristics, sister and me. I could easily understood her being the bread maker of the family.
